What is Ready Set Girls Academy?
Our Ready Set Girls Academy empowers teen girls to live a positive life and reach for higher achievement. It’s free for high schools and community organizations, all the materials are provided. We’ve successfully delivered it at multiple sites in the city and surrounding suburbs of Chicago. The curriculum is adaptable and can be implemented during the school day, at lunchtimes, after-school, or at weekends.

Our Group Mentors are trained and experienced professionals. We encourage everyone who shares a passion for education, fostering a better community, and empowering women to become a Group Mentor. Attend one of our charity happy hours in Chicago to meet our current Group Mentors and see if you are up for a fun and exciting new challenge!
Don't worry about your credentials when you volunteer with Ready Set Girls Academy. We train you!
We provide training to all volunteers. Training goes over the expectations as a Group Mentor for IHSF, classroom activities, and all other aspects of the program to ensure our Group Mentors hit the ground running.
